Community Blood Drive

Now is the Time to Donate – September 15, 2020
The coronavirus does not pose any known risk to blood donors in the United States during the donation process or from attending blood drives. The coronavirus only heightens the need for a ready blood supply. By making blood donation a habit you are helping ensure a ready blood supply at all times.
OneBlood is now testing all blood donations for the COVID-19 antibody. The antibody test is authorized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and will indicate if the donor’s immune system has produced antibodies to the virus, regardless of whether they ever showed symptoms. Appointments to donate are strongly encouraged but not required. Masks are required to be worn by all blood donors. You may wear your own or we will provide one for you if needed.
All donors will receive two pairs of OneBlood Cancer Awareness Socks and a wellness checkup including COVID-19 antibody test, blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse, and cholesterol screening.
